• About the doll: This magnificently crafted “baby” has been designed by internationally acclaimed doll artist and sculptor Lee Middleton. Lee began creating her endearing dolls in 1978. Then, sculpting dolls at her kitchen table, her first dolls were modeled after her own daughter and son. Lee captured their likenesses in a manner which soon gave rise to numerous private commissioned dolls for friends and relatives. Today, each of these collectibles is molded, hand-painted and assembled in Lee’s own factory in Belpre, Ohio USA. It is Lee’s sincere hope that the original “baby” you select will become a treasured family heirloom for generations to come.
